Vintage Thingies Thursday: Water Lily Vase

Welcome to Vintage Thingies Thursday. This is the day some blogger friends led by The Apron Queen go all out to display their vintage thingies. It is so much fun to visit them and check out their cool old stuff. You won't want to miss a single one.

Today I am showing off my pretty vase. This is the only piece I have from this collection, but I would love to have a pair. Maybe someday one will come along that I can afford.
This is what I found on the internet about it:
"This pretty cornicopia goes from a rose at the base and then flows to the top in a light pink color - a perfect background for the lovely white and green water lily embossed decoration. It is in the Water Lily line made by Hull Pottery in 1948."

This is what the bottom of the piece looks like.

I just know I'm going to see another one someday at a yard sale, a thrift store, or a flea market. I just know it will be right in my price range. I just know my day will come. Someday....

Now it's time to click on over and check out the other Vintage Thursday Thingies.

Love the Hull pottery! I have some Roseville and McCoy, but no Hull. I really like the water lily.

What a great vase. I love hull and Roseville. Yours is very pretty. I always see them at estate sales, but they are always out of my price range. Nice post.

Hi...You have a lovely vase...have you checked Ebay for another? The prices are usually reasonable on items, but the shipping will kill ya... ;-) Bo

I was so excited to see this post. I have a Hull vase. I wrote about it in my blog back in the spring. Here is the URL if you would like to see it.
