Out to Lunch With "Horns In the Sky"

This lovely Cow Parade (London, 2002) lady is called "Horns In The Sky." I'm sure that has some special meaning, but I don't know what it is. I decided to feature her today because my husband asked me to meet him at the mall for lunch. This was a treat for me, since he usually mixes business with lunch.

My favorite food court eatery is called Sarku of Japan. They make pretty good teriyaki chicken. I like almost all oriental food. As a matter of fact, I like almost all food. Anyway, eating Japanese food made me think of this cow because she has Asian writing all over her.

I found this picture from the first cruise Bob and I ever went on. I packed a different outfit, complete with shoes, for dinner each night. This was my oriental outfit. I had too much luggage. Now I can go almost anywhere with a carry-on and a backpack. Live and Learn!

Then I remembered the Japanese Tea Ceremony I went to the last time we were in Seattle. One of Bob's sisters, Sandy, and her family live there. It was such a neat experience. The gentleman who served us was very entertaining.

These two wonderful folks are Bob's father, Bobdad, and step-mother, Nancy. Nancy is from Taiwan, and she is without any doubt the best Asian cook in the world. She is also a great lady and a good friend. Thanks for all the good food and good fun we have had together.
