Ruby Tuesday: Bobbing for Apples

It's time to play Ruby Tuesday, and this week we're showing Red for Halloween!

If you want to join in the fun, just click the Ruby Tuesday picture and it will take you where you want to be.

For Ruby Tuesday this week I am happy to present this wonderful snapshot of Bobbing for Apples. No Halloween party would be complete without this exciting game. The handsome young redhead with his head in the big red bowl is my little buddy Colton.

I never was good at that. They say you have to "cheat" by pushing the apple against the wall of the container and then chomping it.

Dear Grandma Faith,
That's a game I had all forgotten.
From the birthdays party of my childhood. Only, I think we had to hold the hands on our back.
How fun that children play the same games all over the world.
I also think that the Americans a more hospital and clever to throw a party than us, from the cold North.
Hope you'll have fun still.

Harder than it looks, for sure. And those apples are redder than red. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Glad to meet you Faith. I like your choice for RT. I remember doing this as a kid, but was never very good at it. Just didn't have the knack I guess.
Thanks for stopping by.

Is that ice floating with the apples? Nice picture with Colton. Thanks for dropping by my Ruby Tuesday - American Style today. I see you like the Special Olympics. My youngest son has Down syndrome and hopes to join the s.o. bowling team soon.

Oh Boy! What a lot of fun and on Halloween itself, I guess that red headed Colton will be eating taffy apples and maybe then we can see his handsome, albeit sticky little face!.....Love Terry
