Several years ago, Bob and I went to Dothan, Alabama, looking for a brewery he had heard about. The brewery was out of business, but there were plenty of antique stores to visit. I found this beautiful armoire, and we decided it would look perfect in our dressing room. I am not an expert, but I can tell it is vintage. Below is a picture of the decorations I have on placed on top. The books are works of Jane Austen. They are old, but the other items are relatively new.

That is a beauty. How lovely that you have a room it goes so well in. I really like the bookends you have holding your Austen books...

I'm sure he was just as happy to go to antique stores as a brewery. LOL not sure if my husband would have been happy about that.
It's gorgeous, and the books are a perfect touch.
That's a beautiful armoire and your display on top is lovely. I love Jane Austen too. We were in Bath, England last year and went to her house (now a museum about her.)
This is truly a gorgeous armoire!
Thank you for showing it to us!
